Pretty good college

I applied for BIMTECH only as it was the best college as per my qualifications, interest and requirements. I did not take any quota for admission like other colleges BIMTECH also has basic eligibility criteria for admission but the cut-off of programs are rigid. Cut off of my program was 60. The admission process was quite smooth and facilities for the waiting line was good and it did not take much time to clear everything. An eating facility was also given to the parents. Except for these no age limit is imposed for admission.

Faculty members are quite experts in their field and the curriculum of my course is also quite up to date as it is a very industry or sectoral program. In my class, there are 60 students and for them, a class coordinator is there. If I talk about exams then there is many internals, assessments are there and they happen like every week as we have a trimester system. Although passing them is quite easy with just a night study before the exam.

Internship opportunities are available to everyone and each and every person gets it, sooner or later. Majority of the companies which comes for placements takes people for internship also. In my batch Infosys paid the highest stipend of 15000 per month although it was 30000 per month but as it went online and not offline it got reduced. The lowest stipend was 5000 and there was no company with nil stipend. Infosys, TATA AIG, PRAMERICA LIFE and ANVITI BROKERS are some of the key recruiters who came.

Placements are pretty decent if we take pandemics into consideration. The entire senior batch is placed and at an average package of the campus. The highest package this time was 8.2 LPA while the minimum was 6.18 LPA. Companies are mostly big brands that come for placements like SBI, HDFC, INFOSYS, TCS, SUD LIFE, CHOLAMANDLAM MS, etc. After my degree, I will be continuing with the job which I will get through placements.

Fees if we see in comparison to the ROI that my college offers then it's pretty decent. There has been no hike in tuition fees while the hostel is quite expensive and its fess rose by 7-8%. Scholarship facility is available for the students who get more than 85 percentile in Cat, for EWS category, and at every semester 3 people who top in class gets it. Till now I got an internship in an international broking company with a decent stipend in terms of COVID days.

Life on the campus is very interesting and really memorable. Although due to pandemics we could not enjoy much and physical events did not happen but still, there were friends always with whom you can live the best part of life. Classrooms are full digital as in we have smart boards in class. There are many clubs and conduits in my colllege like sports, drama, music, etc. Various sports events happened like a tournament of volleyball and basketball, cricket matches, etc.

The hostel is the best thing about BIMTECH and it is ensured that this quality of tasty mess food no one can get in the entire country. Mess is totally run by the students like students decide the menu for the entire month. Registration for a hostel is very easy as you just have to fill the one-page form and you are in. Only the thing is hostel facilities and food is good but the fees for it is quite high if we see and it is mandatory.

There was no GD round in the admission process while a process of interview was kept after the WAT test which is a written ability test. Topics were quite interesting as they were about society and those topics were given to test your psychological power and analytical skills about the current market. I prepared for these rounds during my graduation days with my mentor there. The interview was totally based upon the CV and few questions from my subjects of graduation.
