Prestigious University

I have applied for MBA (Risk and Insurance) at Banaras Hindu University. I am currently in my second year. My admission process was in 2 stages. One is the BHU PET an entrance exam conducted by BHU. And, after I qualified for the exam, I have given PI in an online mode. In PI, I was asked some topics related to my subjects bachelors. The admission process was smooth.

I choosed this course because I taught that after completing my studies from Banaras Hindu University. I will get placement in some reputed organization. But due to the present scenario it is some kind of difficult. Since, I joined the institute, 2-3 professors was only serious for completing our syllabus. But none of other facilities even care about the students and syllabus. Student ratio in our class is 40. All professors are highly qualified but most of them do not teach properly. Exams were timely conducted, and it was in OBE mode.

In my time, no proper internship help was received from the college. I find it on my own. Studying at BHU, all work has to be done by you. And all study and career tension have to taken by yourselves. Because College will be not going to look after you for this.

After 3rd semester, Students become eligible. Mostly Companies visited:- ICICI BANK, IFFCO-TOKIO, SRIRAM GENERAL INSURANCE, etc. The highest package is 12 LPA. The average package is 4-6 LPA. 80% of students get placed. My plan is to work in a reputed organization.

As compared to other management institutes, the fee for an MBA at BHU is very less. But Proper teaching is not invested in student. So, the money is like wasted of the students. No scholarship is offered, the students avail the state scholarship. Campus placement cell also not working properly.

I haven't got the opportunity to study at campus yet. As I get admission in the year 2020. One year has gone by, but not yet get the opportunity to study on campus. No clubs at Faculty of Commerce, BHU. The infrastructure of the campus is beautiful as when I go for document submission I saw the campus. It's beautiful. All amenities are available.

No GD I have faced during the admission process, as it wasn't conducted. Only PI was conducted. In a Personal Interview, I was asked about the topics related to the subjects of my bachelor's. The entrance test was not much hard, I prepared from the textbooks of Bachelors and, study current affairs from the section of sports, heritage etc.
