Entrance Preview

CMAT 2016 (FEB) - 95.7 Percentile-182 score, CAT-2015-72 percentile. Opted for marketing since i was keenly interested in getting into the course. Interview process involved- essay writing, personal interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum consists of various involving subjects every trimester. Great pedagogy evaluation process for each subject. Various subjects available in specialisation subjects of the likes-digital marketing, brand management etc. Various simulation based subjects and interesting subjects are a part of the curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides us internship. Stipend amount generally starts from nil to 40000 per month. Majority internship providers are startups and offer good profile and location.

Placement Experience

Placements are above average. The college has a good percentage of placements. Companies like Amul, Asian paints, Exide life etc are just few of the top recruiters to name a few. Top recruiters offer upto 12-14 LPA. Median salaries are in between 7-8 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fees is 12 lakhs, including mess, hostel, academic fees. Payment is trimester wise, fees being distributed accordingly. Flexible payment options and ample prior notice period for payment of fees. Additional expenditure is not included in the same amount. No additional charges for using sports, gym equipments.

Fees and Financial Aid

College has the facility of loan with various providers such as Credila, Oriental bank of commerce. Institutional scholarships, merit based scholarships are also provided to students.

Exam Structure

Each trimester consists of 2 exams- Mid term and End term exams, remaining marks are distributed to internal assessment. Each year has 3 trimesters. Exams sometimes consist of open book based exams or closed book. MCQ based exams are also taken from time to time.

Great faculty with upto date knowledge. Good pedagogy and good use of AV aids available in the college. Very friendly and cooperative faculty. More of a friend than a lecturer. Access to them is available to students for there major part of the day till evening. Helpful admin department and admissions department.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
