Remarks

The first 2 rounds of counselling were done via HSTES on their website. We had to register again for 3rd counselling. Check updates on all of the HSTES websites regularly. For the last rounds, we have to register on the DCRUST admission portal. JEE marks were the criteria for admission. The rest of the admission procedure was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I was interested in programming and software development, that's why I opted for this course. I don't know exactly but I think for our course student: faculty ratio is 7:1. The faculty is well qualified, but students should not rely solely on teachers. For success, individual efforts are required. Term exams are every 6 months and in every term, 2 minor tests are also conducted. The difficulty is not that high unless you never paid attention to the class.

Placement Experience

3.5

I think 7th-semester students are eligible for placements. Most students get placed. The only service-based companies like TCS and Fidelity come to campus. Although recently many students are grabbing the off-campus offers (of course because of their own hard work) in companies like Amazon, Disney + Hotstar, Postman, Yamaha Motors, etc with good packages. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed in a good product based company like (FAANG).

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees are 45,400. 35,650 for the odd semester and 9,750 for the even semester. 10,000 additional fees to be paid at the time of admission. The top 10% of students of the class based on the merit list get a scholarship. I am yet to receive this scholarship and the amount is yet to be disclosed.

Campus Life

5

Rythm- Cultural fest is held during the odd semester and Technova - the Technical fest is held during the even semester. Due to Covid-19, fests were cancelled. There is a very large and well-stocked AC library and it has its own app too. Classrooms are like Lecture Halls with seats on the steps. Three rows of benches are there. Rooms are spacious and can accommodate about 100 people. ACs are not there. Chess, Football, T.T., BasketBall, Volleyball, Hockey, etc. like most major games are available with qualified coaches. The swimming pool is under construction. Student/Peer/Senior community is developing year by year. There are lots of societies like robotics club, coding club, literary, dance, debate, music, art clubs are present and are indulged in a lot of extracurricular activities. A Google Developer Student Club is going to be set up in 2021 and I am the first DSC lead.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
