Remarks
We have many ways to get admission to this university. First of all, admission can be done with wbjee exam. Also admitted by ICAR quota. The minimum wbjee rank is 8000-12000 to be admitted to this university. There is no age limit for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into 8 semesters through 4 years. The first semester is based on the fundamentals but the rest semesters are based on the dairy industry which makes students ready for jobs. All of our faculty members are well-educated and well-aware of the course curriculum. Their teaching quality is excellent. Here student and faculty ratio is 44:1. In every semester, you have to score more than 50% marks in each subject which is comparatively tough.
Internships Opportunities
In the 7th semester, there are 6-month plant training programme internships which are main in this course and most of the students get placements in this time period. All students get a stipend of Rs 18000/- after completing the internship. Not specific companies offer this internship we have to go to dairy farms all over India, do the ready dairy training programme projects and look for the positive outcomes of the prospects.
Placement Experience
Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well and learn well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are Amul, Mother Dairy, Red Cow, Metro, ITC, Thackers, TCS etc. Students can get various types of jobs like dairy development officer, dairy technologist, farm manager etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is too much lower, as it is fully government per semester with about 6k taken and at the time of admission 17k is taken, you can also be eligible for different scholarships like swami Vivekananda scholarship and merit cums means and Nsp scholarship.
Campus Life
Freshers welcome, Teachers day, Annual fest, Reunion, Saraswati puja, Biswakarma puja, Annual cultural and sports meet, Agri uni fest, National milk day, Foundation day, National science day, World environment day etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is there in our college. The hostel fee is Rs. 1500 / month. Caution money of Rs. 2000 is paid at the time of admission. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. There is a music room, WiFi, TV, gym, sports equipment etc.
Interview Experience
Total course is divided by 8th semester throughout the whole 4 years, In every odd sem you are going to the in plant training in the different Dairy Industrial plans and Cooperatives, In 7th semester there is a 6th months in plant training which is the main and longer in plant train in this course, many of students are placed in this time, This is an ICAR accredited University, I suggest everyone admit on this course, this has a bright future, Afterall Foods never betray us.
