KNOW ABOUT BIT MESRA

I am given the exam of JEE Main and passes with 92.4 percentile and I am from the general category. After that, I attain JOSAA counselling and in the last round, I am able to get Bit Mesra. In BIT Mesra, I have got a chemical branch. So the day of admission they instruct earlier that you have to come with all your document like mark sheets, id cards etc. You have to submit your documents to the institute on the admission day and proceed with your admission.

So I get my branch on my JEE Main marks and I have no other option to change my branch because I get this college and branch in the spot around so I have to select this branch. So the faculty and student ratio in my branch is good because in my branch the no. of students is not much but in branch-like Mechanical, Computer Science is less than the other branch. So most of the professors are completed their PhD and the teaching method is very good, a normal student also understands what they teach you. In my college semester wise exams happen so in every semester there are 3 quizzes that happen in the gap of one month and one mid-sem exam, which happen mid of the sem and one is end-sem exams which happen at the end and exam in my college is normal not very hard.

Companies like Goldman Sachs giving internships with a 75000 per month stipend and Microsoft gives a 40000 per month stipend. So the big companies are coming and giving very good stipend in my college. I have not done any projects and internships yet.

Campus placements are very good in my college. From the 7th semester, you will be applicable for campus placements. The companies visited in our college Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte and many more and the package given by them 20 to 50 LPA. The highest package of our college is 52 LPA by Microsoft. At last, all students are placed. My plan after my degree is to qualify GATE exam and be selected in PSUs.

So the fees in my college are very much around 270000 Rs fees every year and every year the tution fee is increasing other than the mess and hostel fee included around 35000 to 40000 every year because per semester some amount left in mess fee and it will be added in next semester. No financial assistance in my college, and if you score more than 8.8 GPA per semester then you will be awarded by GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP. Currently, I am not doing any job but if your academics are good you get a good job in companies like Microsoft, Amazon and more with stipends of around 30 to 40 LPA.

In our college, there are a total of three annual fests occurred one is tech fest which will occur in September and one sports fest which will occur in November and last is cultural fest which will occur in February and another fest also occur by the college clubs like entrepreneurship development club, Rotaract Club, Leo club etc and these clubs run by the student. On-campus, there is a gym, sports ground and badminton court, basketball court and other facilities also. In classes A.C, projectors, good seating capacity is there. All books are found in the library it is a huge area.

There are not many facilities provided in hostel, you have given one bed and some space in room and one ceiling fan. The mess food is not very good in mess veg. and non-veg. food is also served and regional food also and variety of food is in the menu of mess. The hostel registration is done with the admission process you will allot your room and hostel with admission. If you want to take PG there is locality around the college but you have also pay the hostel fee with that.
