Wonderful yet disciplined.

Not everything on earth in Absolute or 100% there are always a dark side for everything. I have a count only one thing is that the road divides the campus into two half is now become as a commercial although it is a property of Jamia because residential/commercial properties in Okhla increasing drastically so people start taking the university road to commute which is making problem for the students as it causing sound as well as air pollution.

JMI-Common Admission Test i scored 75 out of 100, Its has a very well known faculty of Engineering and also the placement statistics are just awesome which makes me to be a part of it.

Since, mine is 4 sem course so first 3 semesters are purely practical and theoretical with multiple subjects in Electronics (From VLSI to Microwave Comm) and at the last 4th sem is totally industrial based in which student has to go in project based industrial training following seminars on upcoming technologies and thesis submission.

Yes our Nano sensor research lab directed by prof. SS Islam is very well known personality who offered Internship programs along with if the student is curious in research and has very good internship record then he is selected as PhD Scholar with a handsome package.

There is a central placement cell of University which is common for all students belonging to different courses and majors but for Engineering, Law, Management, Dental Faculty. A dedicated placement cell with placement officer is situated in respective faculties. Engineering faculty has a very nice structured placement process, according to the majors like Civil, Electronics, Computer Science etc during placement season (Jan - Sept) companies visits and offer a handsome package. At my time the highest package in Comp Sc in 42 lacs offered by Microsoft Singapore.

The 12 months are not just for the library and classrooms, at first when I entered in the college there is a foundation day in which you used to introduced with the faculty and within a same week there is a fresher's party in which whole faculty takes part in it. After this on each national holiday there are functions and street drama's performed by humanity faculty students which is just hard to describe in my words it is as just awesome. As the time goes there is whole week celebration on Foundation day of Jamia in which VIP's and celebrities are invited. Also, as the spring season approaches flower day fest as held. A small fest is also held in University ground following a farewell parties to sports day.

Fee is very reasonable as compared to other central and deemed universities in the city. You have to pay Admission fee on annual basis with a separate examination fee in the provided government banks in the university premises. For NRI's and international students wire transfer facility if opted by the university to handle the payment process. Also, some fees like hostel, library, sports are separately taken following attestation by the head of the respective departments.

I forgot to mention in the college fest column that a separate drive is occurred which mainly focuses on scholarships, aid, support from NGO's etc. it does not matter from where you come from, for each individual support is available and even for transport also aid is provided but for that we have to submit some legal documents.

Jamia Millia Millia a name which does not need any advertisements, promotions etc. A name is self good enough to attract the Delhites as well as people not only from the country but from around the world. JMI is situated in a green belt of South region in Delhi which is connected to Delhi Mathura Highway, Metro, Buses and all kinds of transport. In terms of Education, its Law, Management, Mass Communication and Engineering Faculty is considered to be top most in Asia after IIM, IIT's.

Hostels and guest houses are as per standards opted by the students and faculty member, Food is very hygienic and available as per given time schedule. Generally, food is available is pure Veg but on weekends some Non-Veg dishes are made which is added on the table. Those people who are pure vegetarian are taken into account and for them special veg dishes are made for each person his/her care is important because if a person is not happy with the food then how can he be happy with the atmosphere, also there are lots stalls and small restaurants both fresh and junk food are available in whole campus area.

When we entered in College, each student has to submit his/her Email ID, Phone No. to their respective administrative offices. JMI has its own Social Network and besides this each individual in connected to each and every update about happening, events in university. I am a pass out of 2013 batch and even now also for small events I receive updates.

For each Sem there are two Internal Assessment papers with separate Practical Exam and in the end of the Sem there are Final Exams. Also, Exams Question papers are framed by the faculty itself and the sitting arrangement was random it means any faculty can be selected out for exams. Exams are generally of three hours are were carried out in a strict environment.

Faculty of Engineering was very strict in terms of lectures, attendance and college discipline. In fact, every proctor of Jamia takes a random check in university. Although, professors out there is very frank outside the faculty, They wouldn't let you to feel like a student instead of they dissolve in your gags to let go your fear so that you can stand in industry fearlessly.
