Remarks

College admissions are very easy through JEE main or Odisha JEE. It's a very good college. Faculties are very helpful, students are also very cooperative and much more excellent. A good campus is also provided. Canteen and hostel facilities were also much good.

Course Curriculum Overview

As this college is a very good college challenging students should take admission here. The faculty and students ratio is 1:40. Most of the faculties have completed their PhD from renowned Universities, some are continuing PhD. Technical assistants are well trained to guide students well. Teaching methods are very updated. smart classrooms are also provided for taking classes digitally. Term exams are conducted twice per semester. As all the syllabus are covered by the teacher within time and selective questions are also discussed so it's very easy to attend the term exam.

Internships Opportunities

Many projects students do base on their branch. College also helps a lot regarding this internship program so that students won't get confused. The outcome of this project definitely helps a lot in surviving in this challenging world.

Placement Experience

From 6th Sem placement related training given to students. So from the 7th Sem, they become eligible to attend campus. Companies that visited college are Capgemini, JPMorgan and many others. The highest paid limit is not there. Students get salaries according to their performance. More than 60% of students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here fees are very less as based on scholarship .jobs also provided here through on as well as off campus in different MNC companies, national and local companies also. These jobs are given to students based on their talents.

Campus Life

Annual fest and tech fest are conducted here in December and January. Some years it is extended to February also. The library is very well established. A smart library is also provided. All the subject related books, journals, and magazines are available in the library in plenty of manners so that all students can avail themselves of that. Storybooks and novels are also available in the library. Classroom s are also very good. Sports and extracurricular activities are also encouraged here. Every year intra cricket matches and other many different games are also conducted. Students alumni are also maintained here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
