Some subjects are really interesting with a lot of emphasis on case study approach. Got to know several unknown concepts of new subjects like accounting and marketing. Also, exposed to some 'soft' courses in Human Resources management. All in all, a holistic learning experience.

Manfest-Varchasva is the annual business, cultural and sports festival of IIM Lucknow. It is held every year in the months of October and November. It witnesses a footfall of more than 12000 students from across the country and abroad. It is the first college fest to get ISO certification.

The fee structure is paid in six installments. The corresponding data for exact fees under different heads can be accessed on the official website of the college. Since it is one of the premier B schools of the country, the fees charged are commensurate to the facilities provided.

Gender ratio is better than engineering institutes with greater emphasis on diversity in the CAT selection criteria. It probably has the best gender ratio among all IIMs. There are several student-run societies pertaining to different fields of management, including finance, consulting etc.

There are 17 hostels on the campus of IIM Lucknow. All of them have single-seater rooms. The facilities are at par with the rest of the premier institutes in India. There is one common student-run mess by the name Annapoorna which is a common hangout spot for students from all depts.

Yes, the alumni network is strong. There is a full-fledged Alumni committee on campus which conducts regular interactions with alumni.

The mid term examinations are evenly spaced out, with little syllabus to cover. Hence, it is not much workload to cover that syllabus in the time available. The end term examinations have higher workload. However, by the time of the end term exams, there is sufficient prep for quizzes, mid terms et al.

Most of them have been around in the academic world for almost a decade now. They carry loads of experience with them. Also open to taking questions, be as silly as they can be. They are always welcoming towards doing projects with students. Many of them do consulting projects and share their experiences in class.
