Remarks

The admission procedure was according to University of Delhi guidelines, after filling the application form and course preference. We have to appear for suitable cut offs as per pcm% for Bsc Hons Chemistry students and admission apply to the college suitable to your cut off and pay your admission fee in prescribed time limit.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was so interested in Chemistry .soz that's why I opt for this. college was according to my cut off and was best suitable for me. The department and faculty were awesome, so cooperative, the environment of college is really good but, the infrastructure is not so good as it is an old college. The lab and instrument facilities were nice. The campus is full of greenery. In Library the no. Of books available was sufficient for 34 students for a particular class but the seating area is a little bit less and administration, lab staff are really internal exams were conducted on time, mock tests, assignment, presentation, projects.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are so many online internships available for Chemistry students online. About offline internships, I don't have any idea. But, you can search online and apply for that according to eligibility criteria.

Placement Experience

2.5

Couldn't get it due to the covid scenario that's why I don't know about that. My plans are secret so, I can't reveal them. Different people's have different choices like there are so many options after completing graduation in Chemistry Hons like to pursue higher studies or jobs but more preferable is definitely to go for Higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was like this every year, the admission fee was Rs.12,592 and there was a separate fee for each Semester examination ( theory + practical exams). The fine for breakage of the instrument, you have to pay definitely, so be careful while performing experiments in the lab. There are scholarships, financial assistance for the needy but you should have an appropriate reason. we couldn't attend Placement and internship due to the covid scenario.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good . Annual fest -Lehren, rasaion Chemistry department fest and similarly acc. To different departments. Fresher party, Diwali Mela, cultural fest, DJ night and so many. It is mainly in October November. Books available sufficient. There are a lot of societies like Drama, dance NCC, NSS etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
