If one wants to pursue PGDM, IIM Lucknow offers a great opportunity to grow.

I took CAT and scored 96.6 percentile. My reason to come to IIM Lucknow was because the college offers a blend of academics along with various other extra curricular activities which are run by students.

Based on the pedagogy used by teachers which is mostly case study based. It exposes students to real life situations. This helps a management student to look for alternative ways to solve problems as well learn from past mistakes. This combined with class presentations and theoretical knowledge makes it a good combination.

More than 100 companies visit the campus for internship. These range from various domains of finance, marketing, consulting, IT and strategy.

Many companies came to campus and the salaried offered by them also vary. The roles offered are in the various domains of finance, consulting, marketing, IT, operations, general management and strategy. Top companies as well as booming start ups visit the campus.

Their are activities throughout the year which are conducted by students. It starts with the inter section war between first year students which is then followed by the biggest event which is the management and the cultural festival Manfest-Varchasva and then Index. Other than that an inter section sports completion is also conducted.

The fee structure as compared to other IIMs is low. The fee was increased this year. The banks of provide education loan at lower interest rate to students of IIM Lucknow as it is an A+ graded college. The split of the fee is different for every trimester and is clearly mentioned on the website.

College had tie up with banks got education loan. I am noy aware about the scholarship offered by college or any loan.

The college has a mix of students from various parts of the country with diffrrent academic background. The gender ratios as compared to many other B schools is decent. People are accepted for their culture and diversity. Cultural societies also play an important part in making people feel like they are at home.

Hostels are not well maintained and they should be cleaned twice daily. New hostels are far from academic building hence it takes time to reach our classroom. The mess food at times is very good but then there are days when it is unbearable. In all there is a lot of scope of improvement.

Alumni of IIM Lucknow have been very helpful throughout the summer process by interacting continuously with us and answering all our queries.

We follow a trimester system. Apart from the final term exams we have mid term exams every trimester. Along with this frequent quizzes as well as assignments are always lined up. Apart from this, every subject has a project submission which is spread across the term.

Their experience and their interaction with the students in classroom is an important criteria to assess the faculty of my college. The teachers at IIM Lucknow are very qualified and they always come prepared to the class and are able to guide the students in using the course material provided.
