Applied for GCETTB as it is one of the best govt. Engineering colleges under MAKAUT, and can be taken admission after taking the WBJEE exams.I was an OBC Candidate. The admission criteria for the admission is qualifying for the WBJEE exams.. you need to score a good GMR rank to get into this college. The cutoff varies from year to year. You need atleast 8000 gmr rank in the general category to get admission in this college. There are no such age criteria to get admission in this college. As you will get this college after clearing WBJEE. So , let me explain a bit about the WBJEE councelling process, WBJEE is conducted every year. After the results, the councelling porcess starts. Due to pandemic the councelling process was online , when i sat for the exam. There were 3 rounds of councelling as per the Choices you made you will get the college round wise as per your college preferences so when i got this college in round 2 i locked this college.

I choose COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING as my branch and the faculty of this branch is truly awesome. They are very highly experienced and also they are very friendly in nature with us..even all the other three branches have good and highly qualified teachers.

The fee Structure for CSE IS 13000 and for other branches is 6000 per year. Yes, you will get the opportunity of scholarships. Oncampus placement is also good but i will say that dont depend on college too much.. rather prepare yourself and apply for Product based company offcampus as in oncampus only service-based companies will come like tcs ,wipro, etc. Also the placement for the textile technology branch is very good. Mechanical and electrical engineering branches students aslo get placed on campus , but the no. Is less.

Campus life is truly awesome, You will get all facilities that you want to get in college life. college group organise many fests, programs every year and also Saraswati puja is celebrated very beautifully.. as it is one of the eye-catchers of the town, Once u get into this college u will never regret of doing so.
