Remarks

The admission process was good not that hassle. No quota Minimum marks are not fixed kind. Basic as capability of 50% marks aggregate in PCM in 12th examination. Not much to be explained it was well and good

It offers good placement 1:15 ratio Well qualified faculty some are doctrates also Exams are scheduled from the very beginning of the college .. Single month nearly 4 class test, Periodic test, mid semester exams and semester exams..

Many companies collaborate with GIET university comes for internships. National level projects are made in these years. Students get packed through these as 8 hours of class then 2-3 hours of internships.

From the 6th semester onwards companies visit. Many companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Mahindra and all visit Every year. The highest was for 11lakh packages in 2021 From byjus, 95% above always students are getting placed. Not sure depends upon the placement they will offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure different for different branches All technical and non technical have different fees structure. On average, it's 2lakh per annum. Btech CSE- 2.25. CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ECE, EE, EEE, PCPR, BT, AGE, CHE, nearly 1.7 lakh per year I didn't get a job till now. I'm in the 5th sem.

Campus Life

Tech fest is normally conducted in winters. Before Christmas The library is very nice. Air conditioned with nearly 1000+ seating capacity. The plethora of books. Nearly 7 types of newspaper. Sports facilities are nice. Basketball court. 2 badminton courts. Indoor tennis table area, Nice equipped Gym, Robotics club, Fusion Botz, Sars, Mechanical club, Team ATOM.

Hostel Facilities

Nice hostels Comfortable for students Meal is nice 3 times a week - non veg Chicken, fish, eggs Well, veg foods also. Central Mess is having two 42 inched led tv Seating capacity of 500 students at a time 3 times a day meal is provided Evening time tea and biscuits Overall good but some times due to massive amount of preparation the food doesn't get boiled properly. Hostel registration is done during admission If in the locality we want to stay then only after the first year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
