Remarks

The admission was very smooth and swift. I took admission through Auat with a rank of 11. The minimum marks in class 12 are 60% in PCM and a good rank in Auat. It is an autonomous university under the govt. of wb. The classrooms are well furnished and very good with free wifi facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is highly qualified with each teacher holding a phd doctorate degree in their respective subject. They are too helpful and also take extra classes. Their teaching method is also very good.They Help in solving Problems

Internships Opportunities

Various companies like Amazon, Cognizant, various it company, Berger, Asian Paints, Infosys, TCS come here with their wonderful package. Just do your best. The placement is 8.5/10 and the salary 9/10.

Till now it's ok. Superb placement. If you think you think you will study properly and have skilled and talent you will get a very good placement. Overall 70% of students are placed on campus and among them, the average salary is 3-7 lakhs per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost is INR 50000 for 4 years i.e 6500 per semester. All the scholarship facilities are available here Aikashree, Swami Vivekananda, WB post-matric scholarship and many more are available here.

Campus Life

Annual fest and festival are conducted here. Just a superb university. The classrooms are modern. Sports and extracurricular activities all have here. Students enjoy it very much. No ragging. All are very helpful.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
