Remarks
i applied for all the IPU colleges providing BBA and BCOM (HONS) programme. in 3rd round i got Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies. still i had chance to get admission in a better college in another round by giving RS. 5000/- extra as a transfer fee. and they told me that my fees will be refunded from RDIAS. but i didn't transferred from RDIAS to another college as RDIAS was more convinient to me as it is near the metro station. it is easy to get a better college for BBA even if scored low in IPUCET.
Course Curriculum Overview
BBA and BCOM HONS have almost same subjects. i chose BBA as i was weak in maths and maths related subjects are only in 1st year which i studies in class 11th and 12th. there is no other semester in BBA which has got maths related subject. 5 subjects and one practical subject therefore, 5-6 teachers and 60 students approx. teachers are highly qualified, they have done atleast masters and most of them have done their PHD. some teachers interact with students and clear all the doubts, some of them asks us question before making us understand and some of them don't even bother if we have understood or not but they will ask if we have understood just for the formality. due to covid, our semester was shortened, so after one and a half or two months, they conducted a minor test (written) which is basically ineternal examination. it is easy to pass but quite lengthy. And after 2-3 weeks they conducted another mcq test which is also internal examination which is quite easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
UAS international, edumentor, spade event management services pvt. ltd. , indiagroup, arbitrium and many more companies provided intership programs in which they used to train us and give loads of work. and in comparison to work , stipend was much less. our role was basically to promote or to sell their products or to manage things
Placement Experience
from 5th semester, students can apply for campus placements. companies visited like chegg, amazon , HDFC bank ,ITC limited , Ameriprise financial , moolchand, byju's, TATA, times of India etc. 12.4LPA highest package and 5LPA average package. Only 10-15% students gets placements in BBA. after BBA, i will do a job, after few years , i'll do MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
fees is quite high in 1st year. it was around 1,16,000 after all expenses. i which 11,000 is refundable after 3 years. fees in 2nd year an 3rd year is 1,04,000 after all expenses. they don't provide any relief in fees, nor they take fees in installment.
Campus Life
all kinds of books are available in the library. book set is provided by the college for the preparation of exams at the beginning of the semester and it has to be returned to them by the end of the semester. the books are of old version. no new edition has been brought up by them in their library. apart from academic books, other reading books and knowledgeable books can also be issued by them. we can join sports club, marketing club, finance club, hobbies club, HR club, industry innovation council club, credence club, literary club , national digital library club.
