THE BEST COLLEGE I HAVE EVER HAD - DR B C ROY ENGINEERING COLLEGE

I applied for Dr. B C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur NIT, Techno India, and many renowned colleges. I was admitted here through counseling on my first attempt. I haven't any quota for admission. If you score below 20000 in WBJEE you will be admitted through counseling. the admission process is not so long that's why admission goes smoothly.

The teachers are very helpful kindly. And they are also very much qualified. I chose this course because it's my dream to study electrical engineering. Most of the faculties are IITIANS. and P.hd from renowned IIT college. They teach us virtually. each semester has 4 internal exams and 2 practical exams. Though the exams are quite tough enough.

I'm in 2nd year and most of the internships are held in 3rd year. I chose this course because ELECTRICAL is the mother trade of all branches. The best thing I love is the environment and the faculties and my department also.

College Placements are so good enough. you will eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. There are many renowned companies such as WIPRO, COGNIZANT, TCS, AMAZON, PATYM, etc. Highest package of 30 lacs per anum and lowest 5 lacs per anum and average basically 7 lacs per annum. Percentage of student getting placements from college campus - 80% . My plans are to get average salary package in non-gov or gov any sectors.

The B tech fees structure total is approx 3.76 lakhs. there are many scholarships such as Bikash Bhavan, nabanna, etc for your help in the next study. My father belongs to an agricultural family that's why we don't have enough money to study in this college. So I took a student loan approx 2 lakhs. and I have my trust that after pass out and getting Job from the college campus I shall be able to return the loan to the bank.

The name of our cultural fest is HORIZON which is conducted every year in the time of Feb. There are many types of sports you may like such as karate, football, basketball, cricket, etc and many others. Our college has its own club and the official website is bcrec.ac.in

In the back of the college, you will meet with 4 amazing hostels. Chittaranjan boys hostel, Arabinda boys hostel, Satyen bose boys hostel, and Nivedita girls hostel. Hostel rates are 30,000 per annum. Hostel meals are so good. But there are many pg that should be budget-friendly. I rent a room 1200 monthly distance 5 min walk from the college.

As you know the pandemic is not good for all in 2021. Due to covid the GD, interview question and all are being in online. If you score below 20000 in WBJEE you will be admitted through direct counseling. And if you want to join this college you shall contact to BCREC management house.
