Remarks

The admission is completed purely on a merit basis. For Hons. category best of 5 subjects of Higher Secondary are counted & particular mark of that particular subject is added. If one person is unable to attend the first counseling and if the seat is vacant his/her name is enrolled on the second list.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because I had a deep interest in English Literature and I also scored a high mark in Higher Secondary Exam conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. The faculty and student ratio is also well maintained in this college. The faculty members are well educated and very helpful to the students. The term exams are exam oriented and the level of exams are very high & to the point. By doing the term exams one can easily score high in main exams.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for B.A. (Hons.) when I studied was approx 5000-6000 and there is no hike in fees. The fees of that course is pre-defined. This college offers many scholarships allowed by West Bengal Govt. In my case, there was no campus interview but the college also offers BCA & BBA which has the scope of getting a job

Campus Life

In this college "Freshers" program conducted by the senior students also some exhibition created by the college students for the other college students. The college has a huge library and variety of books which allows one to enrich his or her taste in other topics. The librarian is also very polite and humble. The classrooms are well maintained and have all the modern equipments.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

A place to enhance skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.
