LNMI-Good College.

I was allotted this college in second round during my counselling round for CMAT. Fee was also affordable and placements were decent, hence I was okay with the seat allotment. Also its campus is very big. considering all these factors in mind it was the best option for MBA. When I searched for best colleges for MBA in Patna Its name came on 4th number. So ranking wise reputation was also good. It is a government college and degree is awarded by Magadh University ,Bodh Gaya.

Syllabus of MBA included subjects such as Managerial economics, business statistics, communication skills, Information technology, Marketing management, research management, Managerial communication , Human resource management. Detailed information about each subject taught is given on the college website, also book suggestions are also mentioned in that pdf so that those books could be availed from the library. All the faculty members were very engaging, they were very attentive to the doubts and helped in learning so that it became useful while entering the corporate business world. Exams were taken which consisted of 70%of the total assessment and 30% assessment was done from Internal assessment such as assignments and projects.

Placement was good. Many good companies visited. 70% was the placement ratio. Many famous banks visited which was the plus point. Banks like AXIS bank, HDFC, ICICI, HSBC, TATA AIG, IMRB and Dena bank. Other companies were Airtel, vodafone, Birla Sun Life, LG, Kent RO, JK Tyres etc. Highest salary package offered was 9LPA and average salary package offered was 5LPA.

Total fees for two year was 1.6 lakhs. The fees had to be paid in three installment of 90,000, 35,000 and 35,000. examination fee of Rs. 630 and miscellaneous fee of Rs. 200 was to be paid before each semester exam. Scholarships are available for students from weaker sections. Rs. 1200 is to be paid for getting the degree certificate.

Campus is well equipped with conference halls, library and IT Center and training center. Various club associations are also very interesting thing in the campus life, ROTRACT Club, SPIC-MACAY and Lions club. Annual fest and Lalit Jayanti is celebrated every year.

I stayed in a PG near college. Monthly rent of the AC room I availed was 5000 INR for a triple sharing room. Common area consisted of a living room, kitchen and a balcony. It had an attached bathroom with a geyser. Other amenities given were a cupboard, bed with mattress and a side table with chair. Wi-Fi was also provided. Room cleaning service and laundry were included. One time deposit amount was 5000 INR. Meal was not provided so I availed a tiffin center service. It was 1500 INR per month.

After the seat allotment I was called for document verification and personal Interview round. General questions were asked by the panel such as Introduction about self, about graduation and why I want to do MBA .
