I had applied for CAT and acquire 92 Percentile. I Have already specified some colleges and BIMM was one of them. I have already heard words of mouth for this college.
Internships Opportunities
The internship was mandatory, every student has to go through it and the stipend was 15 K to 25 K for different industries.
Placement Experience
The placement was 100% and the kind of offering from the companies start from 3.5 lakh to 12 lakhs at that time.Companies came from all the sectors, electronics(L.G,IFB,Reliance), Industry(TVS, Maruti, Mahindra),IT(Infosys, TCS, Wipro), Food industry, Telecom, HR, Banks. upto 250 companies had come in that year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee was 4.5 lakhs for 2 years at that time which was fair enough if we compare it to the other colleges comparing study material, and the kind of environment they are offering. They are focussing student to turn around in future managers in two years. Hostel fee was excluding to that fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, i have not come across to such a scholarship which was given to any of the student. Loan was arranged by every student by their own.
Campus Life
There were 50-50% gender ratio for boys and girls. The students were from across the india. Apart from the annual fest "Drishti" monthly they used to keep seminars from different industry HR, Finance executives/CEO who were great leaders at that time (Vodafone CEO, Yes Bank-MD, HR Head) and student interacts with them to have a clear understanding of the corporate culture.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year BIMM keep alumni meet which sometimes in INDIA and sometime abroad since many of students are working in abroad also .By this people meet with their collegues, seniors, juniors and networking increases which finally benifit them.
Exam Structure
They have kept the labs and exams in such a way that they do not seems hectic , example - In 6 lectures they put one lab in between so it will be a change for the students from lecture to lab. and presentations will be every alternative day so that what were taught in the lecture can be present in the next day. and exams will be quarterly basis.
Admission
After Declaring result in CAT, you came to know for which colleges you are eligible for and after that you have to purchase the form for these colleges.Once you have filled the form these colleges will give a date for group discussion, Personal interview. Upon successfully clear these two rounds you are eligible for the college.
