Remarks

I applied for WBJEE and got a rank of around 10k. After applying for placement in the second round i got Techno Main Saltlake. There is a quota for WBJEE Rankings and college cutoffs. You can also enter all the private colleges through management quota if you cannot pass the cutoff.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since our batch started in Covid times so passing the terms was really easy considering everything was online. But the college is quite active with giving assignments, taking tests and projects. The real difficulty will be verified once we get to the college physically

Internships Opportunities

Certain internships are provided to all the departments in the college. Mostly provided by TCS and Wipro. They are not so many opportunities for an internship in college. ISHRAE is one of the projects that most of the students of IT and Mechanical engineering are associated with and they provide internships too.

Placement Experience

The college doesn't have a 100 percent placement scenario but most of the students are being placed in IT companies from CSE , IT and ECE departments. Some of the ME students are also placed in core company Industries. Also, many students opt for Mtech and higher studies after Btech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are pretty reasonable cause the college has no hostel and mess facility. So the first semester you have to pay 78000 and the second semester 62000 and for the rest of the semester, it is 52000. Also if u take admission through the management quota then you will have to pay around 1.5 to 2 lakhs extra for the admission.

Campus Life

The college is really very active with its club and annual cultural and sports fest. It hosts the second largest technical fest in eastern India. The college provides all the sports equipment and they allow students to participate in many inter-college sports competitions. The library is also pretty big and consists of many different books from different genres.
