I think the market has a high demand for Computer Science Engineers and so I selected the course. The focus should be more on practicals rather than theory as theory is important but most students read, take exams and forget it. Practicals and in hand experience are something that cannot be forgotten. I think exam frequency is good, two internals, two practicals, and one semester for 6 months is not hectic.

Colleges don't provide many internships but give permission to students to avail internships from outside. College is interested in directly providing jobs rather than internships to students. In the 4th and 5th semesters, it's in the syllabus and compulsory for all students to submit minor projects and major projects.

From the final year that is 5th Semester, students are eligible for internships offered by college and at 6th semester that is the final semester students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Salesforce, IBM, Google, Amazon and many other companies visits TMPSL with placement offers. College promises 80-90% placement but last year only 50-55% were placed.

The course fee has been the same for the previous 6 years and has not changed. Calculating tution fees, fest donation, and other compulsory fees it stands at 3 lakhs a year for a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering. There are government scholarships.

There are hundreds of fests of different kinds happening every second week in college. There's a huge library filled with books but most of it is too much outdated. There are charge facilities provided in every bench, all-time free wi-fi and some classrooms with air conditioners. There's a sports club and it organizes hundreds of sports and 4 tournaments a year. There are almost 20-25 clubs of different kinds run by the students.

Everyone with class 10 pass can be eligible for the course. There's a entrance exam called JEXPO and for those who are class 12 qualified can directly admitted to 2nd year by giving a entrance exam called VOCLET. Students can consider councilling and direct admition.

There is a 1:20 ratio of faculty to student and teachers are very helpful whenever needed. But it's true that only 40% of faculty are well qualified and have proper knowledge of their domains, more than 50% are interns and some are not qualified enough for the course they teach.
