Shubhen Shekhar Behera's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Rourkela

Just because I got admission to NIT Rourkela Odisha that's why I didn't opt for any other colleges. Yes I have availed for SC quota. Due to the SC quota, I got the minimal fees structure as well as no tution fees. Admission criteria was held offline. Students have to come with all their documents, like residential certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, migration certificate are as follows. Students will be doing a health checkup. The admission process is conducted smoothly with the staff so cooperative.

I was having a lot of interest in this course. Faculty members are also highly qualified in their respective fields. There is a class strength of almost 100 highly qualified students from all parts of the world. The qualifications of the faculty are almost PhD. Exams were held every 6months interval with midsem before the semester.

On-campus internships. Like before I said companies like mostly Microsoft, Qualcomm, provide PPO (pre-placement offer) after the completion of the internships. They provide a minimum stipend from 30k upto 1lacs per month.

From the starting of 4th year students are eligible to seat in the placements provided by the college. Companies like microsoft, Amazon, sschinider electric, Tata, etc. Depending upon the company's vacancies. The percentage of students getting placements is more than 90% as there are many companies taking part in the college.

It depends upon the requirements like lab infrastructure hostel academic building playgrounds depending upon all these factors the fees of our branch is 120000 per year. As per the income of their parents students get beneficial for getting prerna, medhabruti, NSP, FEE, dayanand, etc.

There is a good campus life in the college. students are going to enjoy their whole stay in this college. College fest such as technical fest (Inovision) conducted in the month of November. Sports fest (vridhi) conducted in the month of December. Cultural fest conducted in the month of January namely (cosmopolitan)

There is a separate staff for the washing cloths and sweeping rooms. students are not being involved in these types of works. They will be getting all the benefits from the college. Also, they will be getting a separate washing machine. The meal quality is very good. 3 days nonveg. For registration in the hostel, students have to give the required documents like residential certificates, etc.
