I applied for BITS Pilani, Goa campus but it was too expensive. No quota Based on JEE main scores and a min aggregate of 75% inboards Very smooth process, necessary details will be provided on the JOSAA portal.
Course Curriculum Overview
Was interested in how machines work. The ratio to my knowledge is around 1:8. All of the faculty are well qualified and the teaching is mainly chalk and board or digital presentation. Term exams are once in 2 months and the exams are between difficult to average in terms of difficulty(never easy) but its relative grading
Internships Opportunities
A range of companies come for internships such as exxon mobil, caterpillar,etc. Details can be found on the website. I have personally undergone research internships and industry training. I have done a total of 5 projects under courses and during internship season.
Placement Experience
7th sem students are eligible for placements Lots of companies visit the campus and the percentage placed is close to 90%. Packages range from 3lpa to 40lpa My plan is to continue my learning experience in whatever I do in future
Fees and Financial Aid
Around 8-9 Lakhs total for 4 years. The fee hike is not a lot and there are bank loan facilities. I haven't applied/ wasn't eligible for scholarships but there are plenty for high graders and low-income students. Placed in Collegedunia with a package of 9LPA.
Campus Life
The incident is the cultural fest (March) and Engineer(October) is the tech fest The library is pretty good and well equipped. The staff is pretty friendly. Well-lit and ventilated classrooms, no air conditioning. Drinking water available. Amazing sports facilities Lots of student-run clubs and groups( IEEE,ACM, Dance, Music, Astronomy, etc).
Hostel Facilities
The wifi is pretty good, basic facilities are available full time. Pretty decent varies from mess to mess. Registration happens online followed by a visit to the office, The rent is 5000 and the mess fee is 25000.
