i applied only for NITK, NITT and NITC, I had OBC quota, the admission process was smooth, the officers and the seniors who handled the admission process was really friendly. The cutoff for NITK EEE was about 185 marks for the obc category,the minimum age was about 20 and all the students should have atleast 75 marks in 12th grade
Course Curriculum Overview
it had a great reputation there were more than enough faculty per students all of the faculties have first class in phd from top institutes from all over the world the exams were conducted every three months, at the end of the semester, the exams were moderate to difficult
Internships Opportunities
a lot of companies like amazon,visa,flipkart offered internships.Most of the intersnships were for the SDE role. Most of the projects were for coding and related to that projects for core roles were very limited
Placement Experience
you can sit for placements from the seventh semester, about 300-400 companies visited and about 800-900 offers were made. the highest package offered was about 40lpa and the average is about 9lpa About 92 percent of the students got placed Working for a the company I got placed in
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees was pretty much the same during my time and it takes about roughly 1.9L per year to study i didnt avail any financial assistance or scholarships, but there a lot of scholarships available based on your background i did get campus placement, NITK has excellent record when it comes to campus placement
Campus Life
There are two fests, a cultural fest and technical fest. The classrooms are well equiped and there are enough sports amenities and extra curriculars in the college there was an online team which would help with student queries
Hostel Facilities
During the first year and the second year, during the third and final years a single room was given. The hostel was affordable and food was healthy. The room I got was in the campus itself.The registration for the hostel was smooth and everyone was helpful
