Entrance Preview
It was cumulative of AIEEE score and 12th PCM percentage. If you get 90% in PCM and 50000 rank, you can get admission into this college. There is some quota for SC/ST and OBC to. I opted for this college as it is a tier-1 college and placement and other opportunities are very good here.
Course Curriculum Overview
It has limited options to select like when I joined it had only Electronics & Communication, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. So, students who are actually very keen interested in these, can opt for this as in this, the course and research work is very good. And now, the options have increased to select from.
Internships Opportunities
No, our college does not provide any sort of internship but the faculties and staff here provide good references for internship outside college.
Placement Experience
BIT Mesra is among one of the top colleges in terms of placements and offers. Although many good companies only visit main campus (Mesra) but BIT, Jaipur is good enough to provide 100% placement and more than this in most of the cases. Many mass recruiters and other companies visit Jaipur but other tier-1 companies visit main campus and Jaipur students also have chance to sit there so they can grab opportunity.
College Events
BIT Jaipur organises one cultural and one technical fest every year. Both are at a very good level, both the fests are intercollegiate so colleges from outside also participate in these and students really enjoys games, events, programs a lot during these fests. Also every year a very grand annual day is celebrated in which all the winners are being awarded accompanied with various skits, talent walk and performances.
Fees and Financial Aid
BIT does not provide any sort of scholarship and not even any loan on it's own. But you can take education loan from any normal Bank and college will accept fee payment through this also.
Campus Life
Campus life in BIT is worth spending four years for education and personal growth. Although the course and exam structure is quite strict but even then the faculty and staff members are very helpful and cooperative. Students here are very active, be it in any kind of department - Engineering, Management, Animation, etc. They actively participate in every kind of event and are very good in academics to.
Exam Structure
There was no as such burden or hectic schedule of Labs or exams that I ever felt like skipping them, but naturally sometimes it becomes boring especially when you don't get the expected result, so exam schedule and lab systems were quite good. We have one mid-semester and one end-semester examination during a semester so it was not at all hectic.
Admission
BIT Jaipur releases its admission form every year before the academic year begins. It does not advertise itself anywhere and only a short notice is published in newspaper that application forms are available and they keep last date too for this. I got the application form from Internet and had to send the duly filled hard copy of the form to college.
Faculty
BIT Jaipur has some of the finest faculties with it. Most of the HODs and senior faculty are well renowned in their field with very strong grip on their subjects. Almost all teachers there are very helpful be it theoretical, project work or any other concern. Except some teachers, who are less experienced, all faculty and staff are good there.
