Remarks
The admission process is fully merit based. Students have to register on the university website with their scorecard of JEE mains. After the allotment of the colleges, students have to confirm their seats. if there is any seat left due to any reason, anyone can apply for that based on the 12th percentage. Anyone with 60 or more than that percent in the qualifying exam can apply, but there should be no reappear or no age gap of more than 2 years. After the registration, you have to choose colleges of your choice (5 colleges) within the university. as per the merit and of your choice, the college will be allotted to you.
Course Curriculum Overview
Best faculty are there to help us in both academics and non-academic activities. All the teachers are really very supportive and understanding. They motivate us all the time to learn new things and explore more. All of them are educated well and having lots of teaching experience. But if the students do have not good attendance, they will not tolerate this at any cost.
Internships Opportunities
Hardly any internship is provided by the companies visiting our college. They just hired the student for the full time work. but sometimes TCS hired students of the CSE batch for the internships for the SDE role.
Placement Experience
Many companies visit our college for placement. The highest package of the last batch was about 10 lakhs. In our CSE department, companies like Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini, KPMG, byjus, TCS, etc hired students at a very good package. Almost every student who wants placement got placed in MNCs. I want to do masters in the data science domain.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of B.tech computer science and engineering are 85,000INR/YR. In these fees, 60000INR is tuition fees and the rest are university related fees. Various scholarships are also provided to the students by the university. The first one is SC/ST scholarship, the SC/ST students of Punjab state only have to pay nothing, their overall fees is zero. the second one is based on merit, it is for all the students. 100% off on tuition fees for the students who scored 90+ in 12th and 50% for those who scored 75%+ in 12th standard.
Campus Life
Due to the covid scenario, my first year is completely online. Just one Tech fest named AVAHAN was organised by the college online. 63 colleges take part in this. It's a really very interesting and amazing experience for all of us.
