This is a decent college and one can think of taking admission here.

I have applied for several colleges like SKIT JAIPUR and had given comed k for getting Bangalore colleges. But I did not get enough marks to get to a good college in Bangalore. Also, I had decent marks of 103 in jee mains. So I applied for the Odisha colleges which come under OJEE counseling. I got a mechanical branch in CV RAMAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, now it is known as CV RAMAN GLOBAL UNIVERSITY. As cv Raman is quite good than skit Jaipur so I chosen cv Raman over skit Jaipur and have taken admission to the mechanical branch. Actually, I also wanted a mechanical branch so I got it easily there as I have good marks in jee. If you have more than 100 marks you will get any of the branches easily here. The admission process was held in Rourkela. We had to submit our documents and give the token amount to book our seat.

I have always had a keen interest in learning about different kinds of machines. Also, you will get a lot of oppurtunities in government jobs if you have opted for mechanical engineering. For every 30 students, there is 1 faculty in the mechanical department. The best thing about the mechanical branch here is all the teachers are postgraduates from iit's colleges. The exams and results are held always on time.No matter what the situation is college will conduct everything on time.

From the 6th semester, students are eleigible for placement.Every year around 20 companies visit in our college for cse,it and ece.For mechanical it is not that good only 7 to 8 companies visit every year.But the main thing is if you have the knowledge you will get better job in off campus.There is 100 percent placement record.Different types of company visit in our college like tcs wipro tata mahindra etc.The highest package offered is 14 lakh previous year and average package is 3 to 4 lakh per year.

The fee structure is 1 lakh 17 thousand per year and special training fees is 20 thousand for first three years. As of now the tution fee is increased to 1 lakh 55 thousand per year in which special training fees is included. The college provide various loans for students.

Honestly speaking the best thing about this college is the campus which is about 100 acres .So beautiful and a lot of lawns to sit and enjoy with friends.Different types of cafetaria a lot of shops towards the back gate of the college.A huge library inside the campus which consist of every types of book you want,three auditoriums in the campus.The college conduct two fest one is its annual fest which is celegance held in february every year and one is vidyantrik which is held in september every year.Different kind of clubs are here like dramatics club,literary clubs,technical clubs,dance clubs.Every year audition is held for all the clubs.The sports system is not that good in our college.The college do nor provide enough facilities in sports sector.

There is one girl's hostel in our college.Every room is 4 beder and two bathrooms for 1 room.The hostel fees is 77 thousand and there are both type of rooms ac and non ac.Non ac cost is 67 thousand per year.The worst thing is the quality of food here.College do not provide tasty foods and also you cant do anything for it.You have to contact chief warden to getting a seat in hostel.Also there are two boys hostel in our campus which consist of both types ac and non ac.
