WBJEE, Rank- around 18000. I opted for this college after my elder brother recommended it to me. I chose ECE so that I could learn more about electronics along with coding. The professors of our college are very helpful. The labs are well equipped with the latest instruments. The campus is also very good with greenery everywhere.

I haven't heard about any internship that our college provides. Though the training that out college gives in different fields is very good.

The placement in this college is at par with many of the top colleges. Several MNCs come to the college. Over 90% students are placed every year. Special classes are given before campusing to polish the aptitude, English and technical skills of students. A lot of world renowned companies offer jobs to the students.

Technical fest is called Techfiesta. It happens in the month of February. Several events are organised. Events like robotics, coding, gaming, treasure hunt and a lot more attract students from all over the state. The prize money is also quite big and every participant get a welcome kit along with a eBay discount voucher.

Campus life here is awesome. Gender ratio is almost 1:1. People from different states come to this college. Lab infrastructure is very good. Competitions like robotics, coding, gaming, football, treasure hunt, circuit design, quiz etc. are held during tech fest.

Exam is a regular thing here at Academy of Technology. There are 2 internals in every semester along with the university exam. Practical tests are also held along with daily viva. Internals are of 40 marks for each subject with both objective and long answer questions.

I got admission via WBJEE. After giving the exam and the results being declared we had to put our preference of admission in different colleges and according to this colleges were given to us. It happened in 4 rounds but I got my 1st preference in the very 1st round itself and then I reported to my college and completed the process.

The faculty at Academy of Technology are very qualified and helpful. Whenever the students need help they put in their 100% to solve the queries. During the final exam teachers come to the college even on holidays to clear students' doubts. They teach in a way that students get interested in the subjects plus the practical experiments also help a lot in understanding difficult topics.
