Remarks

- I applied for various colleges nearby me. - No I hadn't. - WBJEE and JEE Scores are accepted. - Admission process was as usual. Had to go to college for it. My review about the college is that it is good but not as I expected. I expected more from a private college.

Course Curriculum Overview

- I chose this course for future perspective. - Faculty to student ratio is nearby 60:1. - Qualification is good and teaching method for some teachers are average. - Frequent term exams were taken such as twice internal exams in a Semester gap of 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

- Fees is just like its competitiors in the market. It relieved only like 5000 for covid crisis for a single Semester. Training fees of ?10k is to be given every year too. - I didn't got any of those scholarships, financial assistance or stipend.

Campus Life

- Annual fest here is named, ARCADIA in which popular singers has came like KK , Mika Singh and all although for last two years nothing has happened. - Books and magazines are available in the library. - No A.C. classrooms, some labs have ACs, washroom is there for a building - Extra curricular activities is there but not in sports .

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More

Academy of technology Reality check

I got this this from WBJEE , i wrote this exam and I score rank under 12 k in which our college has cutoff of 20k. I applied for the councelling of WBJEE and got selected in first round .
