If you score below 20k in WBJEE you will admitted through direct counselling. College placements are so good enough . Highest package of 30 lakhs per anum . lowest 3 lakhs per anum and average 6 lakhs per anum. top recruiting companies are WBSEDL. Highly recomended.

Faculty : The teachers are very helpul kindly. And they are alo very much qualifiel.. most of the faculties are IITIANS and p hd from IIT. the teaching quality is so good. they teach us virtually. YESSS it makes students industry ready. The semester exam is almost tough. the pass percentage is 30%

I'm in 3nd year and the internship have already started in online mode because of this pandemic situation. I chose this course because ELECTRICAL is the mother trade of all branches. The best thing I love is the environment and the faculties and my department also

Placement Experience

College Placements are so good enough. you will eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. There are many renowned companies such as WIPRO, COGNIZANT, TCS, AMAZON, PATYM, etc. Highest package of 30 lacs per anum and lowest 5 lacs per anum and average basically 7 lacs per annum. Percentage of student getting placements from college campus - 80% . My plans are to get average salary package in non-gov or gov any sectors.

Fees and Financial Aid

and Funding Scholarship 1 Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW)- The scholarships are available for economically backward meritorious students of UG level engineering course. Selection of students are decided on the basis of merit cum means by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Scholarship 2 West Bengal Financial Scheme (WBFS)- The scholarships are available for economically backward meritorious students of UG level engineering course. The students are selected by the college on the basis of merit and means of the students.

Campus Life

The name of our cultural fest is HORIZON which is conducted every year in the time of Feb. There are many types of sports you may like such as karate, football, basketball, cricket, etc and many others. Our college has its own club and the official website

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
