Remarks

Well, I was trying to get Admission to IIM but couldn't make it to the final list. I have not availed of any quota for admission. Talking about the admission process, you must be a graduate with 50% marks and have a good ranking in CAT OR MAT.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose MBA because I wanted to upgrade my skills, get more industry exposure and push myself to do better in life. Chitkara has world class faculty and the professors here are highly educated and disciplined, they teach in a very good and effective manner.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the university provides internship opportunities to the students. I did my internship at HDFC bank and my job was to handle customer's grievances and also be aware of the new offers and net banking.

Placement Experience

Yes, the campus provides Job opportunities through their campus placement programs. Many companies like Hdfc, Utkarsh small finance bank, Paytm, Dabur etc. Visit our campus for recruiting students. The highest package was Rs. 15 lakh and the lowest was Rs. 4 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Okay, it will cost you around Rs 5 lakh to complete your MBA from Chitkara university. Hostel fees I feel like is more than expected that's why I went for PG instead of a hostel. I did not avail of any scholarship, so have no idea about it.

Campus Life

I thoroughly enjoyed my campus life. The campus is very beautiful. It has libraries with 24/7 Wifi connection, my favourite "Square one" which is a canteen or cafeteria sort of place where you can enjoy good food with your friends. The classrooms has all the basic amenities.

Interview Experience

3.5

After filling the admission form, I got a mail and then I went there. Students who have not appeared in CAT/MAT have to give Chitkara university's test, after that test they conduct their GD and PI. My interview experience was good.

Thapar the unique approach to MBA

Placement Experience:

students are eliglible for placements when they pass previous backlogs and have 75% attendance. almost 50+ companies showed up mostly taking resume and not conducting any interviews. avg. package: 6L almost 70% students got placed mostly in sales.

The placement were so bad I mean the company came but they only took sales people rather than coming the finance profile or the operation profile so minimum package was 2 lakh doing mba getting low is quite not good

A Valuable Learning Curve with Real-World Exposure

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college are decent. Mostly students got placed for sales and marketing role. There are very few companies who came for Finance ,HR and Operations and other specializatins. So mostly at the end other specialix=zation students end up with getting a job role in slaes or marketing only.

Placement Experience:

Generally the placement drives starts during semester 3. Few name of the companies which visits campus Is Deloitte, American Express, Oxane Partners, Nestle & L'oreal etc. Highest package is 24.81 LPA & Average package is 8.17 LPA.
