Remarks

The admission is very simple. You just have to fill DU registration form and get your percentage and marks verified by your college and that's it. No, I haven't availed any quota I was from the general category. Admission criteria mainly depend on your class 12 merit.

Course Curriculum Overview

The BCOM in DU is one of the best commerce courses and students eagerly want it. The knowledge that BCOM provides is similar to the CA course hence it proved to be very fruitful. The student-teacher ratio is 35:1. teachers are well qualified and have the proper experience. The exams are held 2 times a year which are divided into semesters that means a 3-year course has 6 terms of exams

Internships Opportunities

The roles offered by different companies are different. Roles like SALES, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, AUDIT ASSOCIATE, ACCOUNTS INTERN, FINANCE ITERN, UI/UX developer, etc are roles offered by various companies. The annual internship drive and annual job fair conducted by the college placement cell define it all.

Placement Experience

Students of Final semesters are offered full times jobs from campus placements and training, as well as internship opportunities, are provided to other students. This all is done by the college Placement cell. The average package of our college is 4 lakhs P.a. around 50% of students get placements through college. After getting my Degree I will complete my CA course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in DU colleges are very minimal and that of our college too. There is no such fee hike policy and scholarships and financial assitance is provided to economically weaker students. Even during the covid times, financial assistance was given to various students.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Anoogunj and it happens in mid of march, It is our annual college fest. The library is full of Journals, Books, Research Papers, Reading of various foreign as well as Indian authors. Classes have all the amenities such as a smartboard projector etc. Yes, college is very good in sports and has a Hockey and Cricket team. Coaches are also available for coaching. There are various socities clubs in colleges which provides extracurricular activities for overall development

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

i dont like any thing in this college

during the addmission time i dont have that much knowlage which i have know this is the first college i have alloted in 3rd list and i was scared that i dont want to miss that too thats why i choose this college other then that if i have any other option to cahnge my college i will definetly changed that i have to travel 2 hours for the college if i want to attend the 8:30 class i have to take the first metro from the neartest metro station and evry day 4 hours travel was hactek when i reach home i just went to sleep i dont have energy for take 10 mins for my food that was my bad i was not awear about the frizeing systerm and i was afred that my be i dont get admission in other college thats why i just take the first apportunity and just leand with it the admiddion process is very confusing i asks many people abaout that then i did what every i can i waas very sad after i got to know the things becous 3 years is a big time and evry day i ahve to weast my 4 hours in traveling that why i tred form migration but from my college migration was not allowed and i have to score 80% for maigratiob...Read More

REALITY OF SSNC
