Remarks
I applied for Banasthali Vidyapith and for Delhi University (not any specific college) I didn't attend Delhi University because according to me Bansthali was much better for me. Minimum marks for admission into B.com were more than 75%. The admission process was long but smooth on the same day we had our counseling, they had a separate room for that which was very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it will help me in the profession I have chosen to pursue. Overall there are 300 students in my program but they are divided into three classes so the student-faculty ratio is 1:100. Our faculty is highly qualified and the teaching method of some teachers is good but others are open to feedback and change their method according to students. A year is divided into two semesters and each semester we have 2 formative assessments and 1 final semester examination.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that provide internships in our university like MAGNIK, Infinity, Planetspark.There were different projects as per students but most of them were for business developers. Like MAGNIK and planet spark both were for business developers.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from their 4th semester but my university doesn't provide any placements for B.com students. After degree, I am taking admission to law University. The percentage of students getting placement is about 60-70 percent as I know.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study is high. I didn't get any scholarships. I didn't get any job either because our university doesn't provide any on-campus job. I didn't receive any financial assistance, my parents paid the whole amount and still paying.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities known as five-fold activities in my university student can choose from them as per their preference. Each department has its own library and there is a central library which is for the whole University. From cricket to soccer, gym, horse riding students can do anything as they want after filling a form and submitting it.
Hostel Facilities
Students who don't reside within 25 km of University have to take hostel it compulsory, PG or rented room service is not available. Maximum 4 students reside in one room, we were given tables, chairs, and cupboards for each one. The meal is very good and nutritious.
Interview Experience
There was no group discussion or interview for the course I applied for. For admission we have to fill a form online then we get an admission form from the university by post after that we were called to the university on a certain date for further process.
