Firstly this college is one of the best colleges near my place & 90% placement occurs every year. The admission criteria are not very tough. If you do a bit better in jee mains or wbjee, you will easily get admission to this college. Now the admission process is very simple. Everything is online based and controlled by the Wbjee counselling department. The round you get the seat in this college, you have to go to the college for completing the admission process, i.e. for submitting documents & admission fee which is nearly 60 k. And the best part is that you can opt for a loan from the college for completing graduation from this college. If you are planning to take admission to this college, just take it as it's one of the best & renowned colleges in West Bengal.

I am a bit more interested in computers since childhood only and hence I took a CSE course. This college has enough and more than enough faculty for every subject. The facilities are also well qualified from NITs or IITs and are very friendly to students. Now the exam is not at all tough in B. TECH. Few class assessments are taken from college & lastly semester exam is conducted by MAKAUT and you have to get 15-20 marks out of 70 to pass.

Internships are provided by very few companies and provided some years. A company such as verzeo gives projects such as the covid 19 mask detection project. And also gives a good amount of students Stipend. The project was that the students designed an Artificial intelligence project using a camera and using it detects a person who is wearing and who is not wearing masks in crowded areas.

From 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Different companies such as Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Paytm, etc visit for campus placement. The package varies from 3-7 lakh per annum. About 90% of students from CSE get placements every year.

The fees are divided into 8 parts or 8 semesters and you can pay the fees at any time from the college portal. College also provides scholarships to the best students. For college fees, the college provides loans and also Accept students credit card schemes.

The campus is very nice, full of greenery. Course books are provided by the college only. All types of other books are available in the college library. Different sports clubs such as cricket &football are available. At least 1 techfest is conducted every year.
