I took JEE MAINS in which i scored 232 marks and got qualified for appearing in JEE ADVANCE and NITs counselling. I also scored 92.6% in my CBSE 12th board which led to my AIR 8958. I was already having my school seniors studying there and they gave a very positive remark about the institute and MNIT is currently among the top 6 NITs so one can say that it was a also a factor which lead to fill MNIT as my choice.

Course curriculum is one of the best in India you can get. Starting from the very first year you are not thrown into your branch core rather you are made to study with different branch people with common first year syllabus which consists of basics of all branch and give you idea what really you will be studying in coming 4 years.

Internships from college are mainly for computer programming students. Recently Amazon has taken 4 interns with ₹50,000 per month and arcegium with the same. Direct i selected 4 students for intern with ₹1,50,000 per month which includes house rent. Core students have to either apply off campus or some core companies come and select them with the new recruiters.

There is a major transform in placement from around 6 years. Average package for Computer is rs 15,00,000 (max rs 28,50,000). Mechanical(max rs 7,50,000) and Electrical(max rs 16,00,000) rs 6,50,000, Electronics rs 8,00,000 (max rs 14,00,000). Apart from core companies there are also analyst companies visiting which are very good opportunities for non tech people.

Loan is available from the bank and there are many scholarship available mostly to economically backward class or to SC/ST. Some of the scholarships are provided by Government both central and state while private firm also provide scholarships to toppers.

After appearing for JEE advance one has to sit for online counselling session in which a particular has to fill his or her choices of institutes in descending order. After this 1st round is held in which choices are allocated to the first slot of people and then 2nd and then 3rd round. Its a time consuming process and everyone gets the best out of it.

Faculties are well qualified but as all colleges they don't pay any attention to their classes. They literally take teaching as their job not as their passion. Some faculties will never ask you to think beyond and you find a way to taunt you while on the other hand there are some who wants their student to succeed and bring different ways to enhance their learning.
