Remarks
I applied to this college because it was a great college with respect to my marks. Placement is also good. Admission was smooth. Criteria must have changed, but it was MHTCET - above 80 or 90 and percentage above 75 or 80. The minimum age is 17 as I was 17 when enrolled.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I was from a computer science background and I am fond of coding and technology, I opted for Computer Engineering. The faculty is great. It has faculty for almost all subjects. There must be 1 or 2 semesters where one faculty taught 2 subjects. Faculties are well qualified and teaching method is above average. Term exams were on time and it wasn't hard to pass if you have sat the lectures.
Internships Opportunities
So the one I did was an Internship cum Training from StudyLeague IT Solutions who have alumni from MHSSCOE. The project was on Python and creating a swiftlogger. the training was on Python web-based. Many more internship options were there and given to various students depending on their skillset.
Placement Experience
After semester 6 or the start of semester 7, students start getting onCampus job options. Companies such as TCS, LTI, Wipro, Neosoft and many more come with an offer of around 2.8 to 4 or 5 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA and profiles as a fresher are Software Trainee. More than 85% of students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were moderate as compared to other colleges. It had scholarship options for quota students as well as for financial issue students known as EBC or something. financial assistance was given if asked and shown the proper documents. If you build your skill set it will get you jobs and internships with a stipend.
Campus Life
Fest such as ambrosia are conducted in even semesters maybe after 1st UT. Also since I was in Programmers's Club of Computer Branch we conducted Hackathons in February or March. Books and journals are available in the library and anybody with library card can get it. Sports are not that much promoted but you can still play it in the fest and earn trophies. There are various groups/clubs which you can opt for and get benefits.
