A mixed up experience!!

I can suggest this college to those who are not very brilliant because here the students are not so. And students with 90% and more will be bored as here the majority people are with 60-70%.

I had started Bcom honours at Jamshedpur workers college this year, fee structure as very affordable, fee is around 2k yearly. A good environment with a student from all sections of society. Some are rich and some are not. There is least problem for attendance.

There is a mixed up experience in case of syllabus because many students don't attend regular classes but one who attended the classes can do better. No one is there to force students to complete syllabus or anything, it depends upon students what he or she wants to do. But afterall it is affiliated with kolhan University, which is not a popular and rated one.

I am still in part 1 of bcom honours, so I can't say much of companies who all come for placement. But I am sure about the fact that campus selection is very rare in this college. Students don't directly gets placed from these colleges because the college is affiliated by kolhan University, which is not a recognized one.

There is rare or least job opportunities available in case of direct placement. Students has to look their own way after getting the degree as campus placement is rarely done in kolhan University affiliated colleges. And If someone gets placed, the package are not good.

Inter house programs are popular in this college in Jamshedpur. Drama, debate, sports including cricket tournaments and football are frequently held, where many colleges take part. And that too Jamshedpur Worker's College has a number of Athletes. It's a good college if you talk about sports life.

Exam is around negligible. college don't charge examination fee extra, all fee are in included while admission. And total course fee is around 2000 yearly. Because of less fee, it is giving chance to poor students to make their carrier and go for higher studies.

College don't offer any loan or scholarship. As the fee is very less, there is least need of scholarships and loans. Loans are not taken by students. Fee of college is not even Rs 100 per month. so, the chance of loan does not arise, which is a good thing.

Gender ratio can be said equal. Boys and Girls are almost same in numbers. We are 101 boys and 100 girls students in our section. There is no political interference in college. college fund is enough to run college on better way. Mainly students are Hindus and Muslims, but it never makes any problem.

There is no hostels or mess inside the college. If students want to have snacks, they have to go out from the college as there is no one to stop from going out and coming in college at any time during college hours. So, in this field college needs to developed.

I talked to senior about what really happens in college in last years, they gave a mixed experience. As I said, the college is not giving good placement opportunity from campus but after all students can do well in competitive exams after passing out from college.

Exams are well conducted in a disciplined manner. I have given one exam till date which was internal exam of college, it was well and fine. There are big halls and classroom where exam are being conducted. Labs are maintained well. There are teachers and staffs who work efficiently.

Faculties are cooperative and experienced. I can suggest someone to join this college for sure.Most Teachers are above 45 of age which shows their experience level. Faculties gives special attention on students who are interested in studies and trying to do better.
