Between average to good

I don't have bad remark for my college. But I would say if you are looking for a college for it background in a affordable and effective placement opportunity then you should go for it if you are non it student then don't go to the college because you won't get job in your field from that college.

I gave alot of exams but to get admission in Karnataka for those not domiciled from Karnataka comedk is the exam. I gave the exam and got good rank as no negative marking was there. I got 10002 in comedk. I took mechanical because this is the best branch of the college.

The course curriculum is good as it is an autonomous institute with affiliated to vtu so they are having their own syllabus to study which is with the context to vtu plus meeting the modern requirements of companies. The electives are offered in the 3rd and 4th year of the course which vary year to year depending upon the current requirements.

No the college does not provide internship at its own but yea they convey good options in the market where we can individually apply and get selected with average stipend of 10-15k.

Particularly in my batch the placement were good. The placement were for only it people. No placement for non it people. Around 60-70% student got placed with an average of 3 lacs per annum. Tcs tech mahindra were main recruiter. The college has job portal which convey all the information about new opportunities inside as well as outside of the campus.

There are alot of events takes place in the college in the even semesters. The main fest insignia is conducted in which celebrity is called to perform. Other technical events also take place through out the year. I was also the part of college dramatic group.

The fee structure is 1,25,000 for the 3 years and was 1,40,000 for the last year as some placement training was included. The fee structure is normal and feasible as all vtu colleges offer same fees but if you are from Karnataka the fees is almost 30-40 thousand per year which is very cheap and affordable.

Yea the college offer loan facility to all students. I didn't availed but my friends availed the loan facility. The scholarship i don't know but for backward category the fees is more lower than 20k per annum which is very cheap.

Campus life is good overall. As I was from mechanical no girl was there in my class but you get good amount of girls in other branches like computer science electronic communications information science civil chemical electrical. I guess 35:65 ratio was there in every 100 students. The diversity is also there as there are students from Karnataka as well as from Bihar and Rajasthan. The college provided some competition in sports and events on robotics were also there.

I lived the hostel for 1st year and later shifted outside so the hostel facilities is good as it is cheap and worth living. Offers free wifi. The rooms are shared between 3 student per room and lat bath are common for per floor but there are plenty of bathroom and toilet to fulfill the need so no tension. I would rate 4 out of 5 for hostel and mess is also good after certain time you will get bored but compare to other colleges the food is good and you get 4 times food in a day and it is affordable also. So I would rate mess as 3.5 out of 5.

The alumni network is okay okay. If you have personal contact with the seniors then it will be helpful otherwise college does not have good alumni network.

The exam structure is common as compromised of 8 semesters. In each semester almost 6 subjects are there of 4 credit each and 2 labs of 1 or 2 credit. And 3 internals take place out of which best of two is counted. It has the absolute grading system so student need to pass in both exams internal as well as end semester examination. The best part is that it is autonomous so comparatively easy to pass as of vtu colleges.

The faculty of particular mechanical is awesome with highly experienced knowledge. My favorite is D S Bhatt sir present hod. The faculty are strict also in terms of attendance and exams. The attenders in the labs were also very helpful. They are the main person who deliver the practical knowledge about the machine like lathe thread mill drilling machine etc. So learn as much as you can from them.
