Remarks

I'm ayush pursuing bsc maths honors from Sri Venkateswara College. I applied for the latter college and got admission in it. I availed for OBC qouta admission.This provided me relaxation in cutoff. Admission criteria for my college is according to cutoff DU offers age is around 17. The admission process was online and was very simple

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love mathematics. The faculty-student ratio is good tho. there are so many teachers in our department easily handling the students. The faculty is really qualified. all teachers are having masters or doctorate.The teaching method is very good though its online. Term exams happen in six months and it was not so difficult to pass them.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't worked for any internships till now but I'm hoping for it. So many projects and summer internships use to happen in our college. One such project was regarding AI in which I worked and I was required to make a project report on it.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible after the fourth semester for campus placements. So many companies like Dobbs and Shaw, Deloitte, Accenture have visited our college and have made so many offers. The highest package was 19.6 lakhs and on average 5-6 lakhs is the package offered by them. Around 70 percent of students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very low compared to private universities.It's very affordable studying here. I have applied for inspire scholarship and I'll get 60000 per year for my course. There are so many internships and job offers coming very frequently provided by our placement cell.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted by our mathematics department association named trisectrix. There are numerous books and journals in the library. Sports and extracurricular activities are magnificent in the college There are so many societies in our college for each section.Such as exordium as the UPSC cell, global youth foundation,enacts,NSS,etc

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game
