College Review

I took admission to this college through WBJEE Counselling. I secured 20k rank in WBJEE & 85 percentile marks in Jee main. In the month of July 2019, the counseling has started. One month is required for the whole counseling process. WBJEE counseling authority gave me 1 week time to report to the college. In the middle of August 2019(20th August) the class has been started.

I took Information Technology. In my college, students' teacher ratio near about 1:50. In the brunch of IT there is many good professor, some of them are holding PHD, M.Tech degree. SP sir, SKB sir, KK ma'am are very good teachers. I got 8.4 sgpa in my 1st sem secured 2nd rank in my whole brunch & 10 sgpa in 2nd sem. If you study hard, you can easily secured 7+ sgpa.

The placement is quite good. Every year near about 300 students is placed in many companies. Wipro, Tcs, Accenture, Byjus, Jaro, Sap Lap visits here. In the Pandemic situation, the college provided quite good placement highest package was 11 Lakhs. Cse & IT brunch's placement is quite good.

The fees structure is similar as Engineering fees structure in West Bengal. In the 1st sem you have to pay around 60,000, 2nd sem - 42450, 3rd sem - 43450, 4th sem - 43450, 5th sem- 44450, 6th sem - 44450, 7th sem - 43450, 8th sem - 43450. You can get scholarship too if you are eligible, SVMCM, OASIS, NSP & many more scholarships provided here. You can also take loan.

There are many clubs like EDC, CV, NSS, Robonix, etc. Campus area is not so vast as IIT or many more. Every year evey club organise their event & college also organise many sports like cricket, Running many more. Central Library is quite good contains 50k+ books.

Two persons can share a room. This is good for self-study. Hostel fees - 27000 per semester. Meal quality is quite good but the meal is full Veg. There is not a single Non-Veg item. There is a separate building for 1st & 2nd & 3rd & 4th year so there is no chance for ragging.
