NSUT - A REALITY CHECK

I have been alloted the akhilesh das gupta institute of technology & management under IPU counselling and I have not attended that college because till then I was admitted to this college in which I am studying right now. I have an SC quota and it somewhat helped me in taking admission in this college. The admission criteria was to pass a certain cutoff rank to get admission and this was to divided on the basis on Quotas, minimum marks required was around 50 ~ 55 and their was no age limit. My admission experience was not very good because I did not get to visit college or counceling place because of covid , the whole admission process was executed online and I myself did all the procedure online . but there was always a tenison of getting college admission or not or getting my selected branch or not and that thing makes the online admission much more exciting.

I chose this course because i like to explore more and more thing and I actually believe that the practical implementation is much more important of anything you study. I have a mixed opinion about the faculties of this college, some are good some are not good. but the ratio of faculty to student is ample , that is around 1 teacher to 50 students. There are very highly qualified teachers in the colleges some are having master degree from IIT's and some are from foreign reputed universities, and the teaching method is good altogether and could be easily explainable to any student. Term exam were not on time at all as all things were out of order due to covid and the exams were diffcult to provided that the semester was too short to study any subject and thier was not enough time to study for exams.

atlassian , microsoft , google, flipkart , KPMG , E&Y , JP morgan are some of the companies that offer internship , they provide different scenarios and different problems to deal with. you can find some projects online and actually implement them in your own way to get a good look of a problem and figure out to solve different porblems

4th year. there are different tech and non tech compaines who visit the campus to interview students for example google ,microsoft, adobe,goldman sacs. The average package of the complany is around 10 lac and highes package is provided is 40 lac. The college offer 100% placement to students. I am planning to get placement in a tech company

The fees hike is a very serious issue because right now we are in a middle of a pandemic and almost everyone is suffering form a bad financial phase and in these conditions the fees hike is not goof for students. I applied in a scholarship provided by the Delhi govt under financial assistance for higher education scheme through E-district gobvt website.

moksha is the annual fest held in the grounds of nsut main campus and i have not attended a fest till now as they cancelled it due to covid. there are lots of books based on almost everything in the college library. classrooms are great , fully air conditioned,with more than enough light support , big screen for study. There are many sports being played in the nsut like football , basketball, cricket and much more. There are different clubs to maintain the activities of the college and to arrange different programs in the campus.
