A good guide for freshers.

I applied in many colleges for honours because I was not sure if I would get selected in Engineering or not.At counselling I selected in Brainware college but I was not interested. So at last I applied in Narula Institue of Technology and I got selected in Electrical Engineering.No, I did not availed any quota for admission.The criteria was 45% marks in Physics , Chemistry , Maths and a valid rank card of jee main or wbjee.

Physics was my one of the favourite subject and I realized that I I loved the electrical part most .I loved to solve circuit related problems,So I chose this course.There were 20+ faculties and 140+ students(in my batch only) in my department.Some of the faculties has Phd degree and others has M.Tech degree.Some of the Faculties were Excellent and some of them were decent in teaching.In a year there were 2 semester (70 marks for written and 30 for practical) in the gaping of 5 months and before the semester 2 slot exams we had to give for 20 marks.The difficulty level was medium.

There is a company named Highradius offered us intership with stipend.A Company named Internshala offered us internships in college level and college also promots it.Students are getting actual working environment from this internship.

From 7th Semester students become eligible for campusv placements.TCS , CTS , Accenture , Capgemini etc visited our college.Company offered around 4.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs as average package.Around 80% of students get placed from campusing.I want an early kickstart to my career so I want to do a job.

In the 4 years of Electrical Engineering the total fee is 407000 rupee.There was no scholarship or financial assistance.There is a process for getting a job into a company.We have to give online test(general aptitude , domain , programming for it jobs etc) and then interview.

I love to enjoy with my friends in the campus.In the month of march our college organise two fest , one is tech fest and the other is cultural fest.The name of our tech fest is Kritanj and the cultural fest is Navodaya.There are lot of books and journals available in the library.In my classroom everyone is very friendly and the environment is very pleasant.Every year in January our college organise annual sports in various events.Intercollege competition is also held like football , volleyball , basketball , cricket competition etc.College gives us opportunity to join the tournament to show out talent.
