My experience with PEC Chandigarh has been very nice, with very good professors and labs. For extracurricular, the college has a lot of activities. Very good placements, very good infrastructure, and hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up to date. With advanced labs and good professors. it is one of the top engineering colleges in India with a beautiful campus and location. Very good placement process from 6th semester onwards.
Internships Opportunities
There are very good internship offers. Companies visit campus from the 6th semester with a stipend. Good projects and students also get pre-placement offers. Good companies. Like Amazon, Microsoft visits for internships.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem students are eligible for campus placement. A lot of companies like American Express, Microsoft, amazon, IBM, Mastercard visit the campus. The highest average salary is around 40 lac. More than 80 percent of students getting placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure: Not so expensive the fees are quite low as compared to other colleges like Thapar. Scholarships are provided on the basis of good performance in class and girls with top jee scores in particular branches.
Campus Life
PECFEST takes place every year in around October-November. A good library on the campus, smart classrooms, sports activities, and inter-branch and inter-college matches take place. A lot of groups i.e, technical and social.
Hostel Facilities
2 girls hostel, 4 boys hostels Good rooms with sharing accommodation, Availability of all basic amenities like electricity, water, etc. Close to college on walking distance I lived in one hostel for 4 years. Mess is also good.
