Entrance Preview

GGSIPU CET was the entrance examination I took. I secured 6826 rank. I opted for this college because it was the best option available. It has a nice infrastructure and the placements are MUCH better than the other IPU colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is fine. It can be better but it still ticks all the right boxes pretty much. The course is broad. the study hours are sufficient. It is a 4 year program. 1st year the emphasis was on all the fields.

Placement Experience

The placements are the best, in the IP university. A lot of companies visit Infosys, Accenture , and many more which I do not know precise details of. The average package is about 3.4 lacs which I have heard of. The placements are much better than the other colleges like msit, niec etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not very feasible and not very expensive either. In the course of B Tech 97250 is the fee for one year which I guess is the most among all the IPU colleges. This does not involve the hostel fees. Students opting for hostel have to pay around 1 lakh for one year.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is a little less since it is a technical school and not much girls opt for it. 10:6 might be the ratio of boys to girls.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is rigid and quite tiring. We have a lot of exams there are two sessionals of theory internal practicals external practicals. And even a end term theory examination which is the external. The labs are almost everyday of 2-3 hours followed by 3 or 4 theory classes of 1 hour each.

Admission

I took the entrance. Then the counselling happened which was an online procedure. I had to fill in my preferences for the branch I had to opt. I wanted to enroll in Mechanical and Automation. So I chose it. Then I froze my seat and went for the admission on the date the institute had decided.

Faculty

The faculty is amazing especially the mechanical faculty. All the teachers are very knowledgeable . However, some of the teachers are not competent enough. But most of the faculty are very helpful in nature. They are available at all times.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
