Remarks

College tries to make money at every step and keep changing rules to make more money.(eg. fails students to make money in re evaluation process). Improper management and notification system. They change datesheets even during examinations and notices are generally displayed before half an hour to be physically present for even serious issues like re evaluation. College being autonomous they have lots of power that they use not to make students future but to spoil it.Lots of partiality at every step between punjabi and outsiders.Even the director has serious criminal charges against women check it yourself. Sikh dominated so you cannot stand against anyone who is sikh and or punjabi even if he is doing something wrong. No one cooperates or listens to you. You are just an ATM for them.

Entrance Preview

You will see good ranking in papers but reality is different. And if you are an outsider then don't take admission here and if you are not sikh then god bless you, you are gonna see worst college life one can have. Pros: 1. Aicte, ugc, nba accredited. 2. Good ranking to show off others. Cons:Reservation (for rurals, for gill donors, for sikh caste) makes you spend your graduation years with dumbs.

Course Curriculum Overview

You will have to attend atleast 75% classes and it is so difficult when teacher doesn't know his subject and you will feel like being in some low grade school. And if you do not attend 75% classes then you will be detained without warning ( you will not find your roll no. in examination) and in next attempt you will have to give rs. 5000 per subject (again money making scheme).

No Placement (in my batch only 8 students got placed out of 240 i.e. only around 3%.

Exam Structure

Do not give internal marks if you don't lick their or if you don't have influential contacts like someone in SGPC. Evaluation of answer sheets is not done properly. External exam sheets are also checked in college since college is autonomous. This is supposed to be done by hiding the names and roll no. of students so there is no partiality but faculty can see the names of students and then evaluation done is biased.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college .
