I applied for College of Banaras University is in a sociology department the course name is M. A in social exclusion and privacy policy, no I have no avail any quota for my admission, the Entrance exam is conducted by the university for admission .minimum 80 plus mark needed for this course there is no any age limit, after coming to the merit list you provided a call letter by the University and due TO covid-19 admission process goes in online and offline mode I have chosen online mode to submit my details for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I have to go in a bureaucrat line and this course fulfill my demands there are lots of subjects which help me for preparation in my civil service exams 2:20 is the ratio of faculty and students, all faculty member are professors and well qualified and they help you each and every prospective there are 4-semester exams in the two years of this course which was taken after completing of the semester course no there is any difficulty to passing this exam.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The is 35000 for the whole courses of 2 years the student has to pay 15000 for the first year and the rest fees in the second year, I don't even provide any scholarship by the faculty but provided fellowship program for the student the program name is Gandhi fellowship were you get stipend approx 14000 after getting selected.

Campus Life

Due to covid I have not to experience any of the programs so I have no any idea of this..every department has there own library and there is the central library for the students yes there is big sports playground for the students and swimming pools for girls and boys separately.

Hostel Facilities

Due to covid, I have not allotted hostel so currently, I am at my home and hoping for opening university and hostel and hostel are good and food are quite good but you miss your home food most of the time.

Hostel Fee: INR 3500 per year

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

The only specific aspect of choosing this curriculum is I wanna go in a teaching position . I'm doing masters in sociology and it's really help me to prepare well for my future job. Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

The course curriculum can be more interactive like there should be field visit some trip related to topics and with that we will be connect with real world. Teaching method are not as interactive as it can be might be because of some students teacher don't interact.

Experience of college life

Remarks:

Overall, I can say that my experience of the college for postgraduate degree is good as of now. Although the course is good, but, I would want more focus to be put on practical learning because after all, it is a practical subject. Other than that, I am content with the facilities provided by the college. I was very interested in the subject and love it personally, so it is a great experience for me.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me.
