Sant longowal institute of engineering and technology. I have not applied for any quota for admission. Candidates must qualify for the jee main exam conducted by NTA. JOSAA conducted online counseling for taking admission in B.E 4 year program.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a computer science and engineering are on demanding a trade and get placed well, that's why I chose Computer science and engineering. The qualifications of the faculty - at least Ph.D. in respective streams. There is minor and major exam once in a semester. The exams are not tough as no one passes them. The exams are easy.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 54380 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not incremented every year. The odd semester fee is 27740 and Even semester fees are 26640. There is a Tuition fee waiver scheme in which students give the only hostel feels. Hostel fees are 3000 per semester excluding mess fees.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is enjoyable and adventurous. The annual fest is MADHURAM. Tech fest is Techfestsliet. The classroom is spacious now every class becomes smart. There is a football ground and athletics ground, gym, judo club, volleyball ground, basketball ground. National cadet corps (NCC). Intern will club.

Hostel Facilities

In one room, 3 students can be residing and each has own almirah and chair and bed. Each room has a balcony. Quality of mess food is good at all. The registration process will tell at the time of registration. There is also a guest House in SLIET and friends PG.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
