Admission to this college is through HSTES counselling. I have applied for 3 colleges. 1) YMCA Faridabad 2) DCRUST MURTHAL 3) MDU Rohtak I did not get a seat in YMCA in the course that I want. I want to pursue my B Tech from CSE or IT. But my percentile is not too good so I did not get any seats in YMCA. But by luck and OBC quota , I get a seat in B Tech CSE in DCRUST Murthal. so i get admission in this university. In this university you got admission easily if your percentile is almost 94+, Admission is based on HSTES counselling. But al last some counselling round are also done by university to fill empty seats, In open counselling many students got good branch and get admission easily. There are almost 2 rounds for HSTES counselling and open counselling rounds depend on college and empty seats.

I choose B. Tech because it is the most aspiring course. It has a lot of career options for us. Anyone can easily get a lot of opportunities after completing that course. Even this creates a lot of job opportunities for others also. These were the only reasons for me to choose this course. In this university student ratio is almost 2:50 which is very satisfying and comfortable to all. The faculty is very good and a maximum of their teachers are highly qualified for being a PhD. They have a lot of experience. They teach in different and interesting ways and clear all doubts very nicely. IN each sem we have 2 internal exams as a minor test. They are easy to pass and also from the syllabus we study in the whole sem.

There are two types of internships one is offered by the university and in other, any student gets by itself that is off campus internship. I want to say the truth that college did not provide good opportunities for internships but some students got highly packages by off campus internships.

About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package is 29 LPA. and the average salary package offered ranges between 3 to 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters companies are TCS and fidelity visit our campus for our course for placements. Many other companies also visit our campus for placements. I plan to do business after getting the degree and good placement.

The fees are not much high as compared to other universities. It is the most affordable university. our annual fee is 50k and the rest is the hostel fee or some other charges according to the facility. But this all makes it affordable only. there is no such hike that one can not afford. There are many types of scholarships provided to students, especially to sc and girl students. The main scholarship is provided to the top 10 percent of students of every sem. There are also many other scholarships.

There are two annual fests held which include one cultural fest which was singing, dancing, and various other activities, apart from cultural fest technical fest is also held under the name of Technova where students from various colleges are affiliated with DCRUST and others do participate.

university hostel has a spacious furnished common room with T.V and indoor games, newspapers, etc. A billiards room is also functional in boys hostel premises. Hostel premises are connected with wifi. Each hostel has a badminton court, volleyball court and a table tennis room. Every hostel has a mess cum kitchen unit is available in each hostel. Basic amenities such as water purifiers, bathrooms with geysers and laundry are available. Hostel premises are equipped with CCTV cameras and a security guard is available. The registration process is very simple for the hostel. The hostel is better than outside PG or room.
