The only honest review you need to get your facts straight

I applied to the future institute of engineering and management, CIEM, AOT, GNIT. As per my rank, I was selected in all of them but I went for Narula Institute, as I had friends in the institute who guided me and I personally checked to make sure I attended the best college among the ones I filled in counselling. Narula institute had very good faculty support and an active placement cell and aptitude and placement training support with a good placement record that is why I joined Narula and not the other institutes. I did not avail any quota. Admission was solely based on WBJEE or JEE main rank or one can enter via their admission test of cee-ampai with 55-60% marks in boards. The admission process was really smooth and the people at the admission cell were very helpful and patient with their approach.

The course curriculum is up to the mark and standard as any other college, faculty members are good and have a nice work experience they guide students very well and are reachable almost all the time. 20+ faculty members and 145 students in the electrical domain are present. Faculties are mostly PhDs and have experience of 5+ years in the industry. The term exams are held timely and the exams are moderately tough but considering the notes given by the teachers, the exams can be aced easily.

Internships details are provided but dedicated internships do not happen in our college. Internship opportunities details are provided by the mentors. They guide students to avail the positions as well.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester and various companies come for the recruitment like Capgemini, Accenture cognizant. The average package is around 4 lpa and around 60% of students get selected from all the branches.

The fees structure is fair and a minimum constant hike is there per semester. Financial assistance and scholarship opportunities are notified on the official college website from time to time and are also circulated by the mentors and CRs.

Campus life is really great a lush green campus with a pondside to chill. Navodaya is the annual cultural fest and Kritanj is the tech fest, they are conducted in March. A wide range of books and magazines are available in the library. Classrooms are standard with proper lighting and a digital board and a green board. All kin of sports and extracurriculars are available and seniors encourage students to participate as well. There are common rooms for both boys and girls and photography clubs, drama club and innovation cell as well to motivate ideas of students.
