Remarks
I applied for Panjab University and Delhi University but preferred Delhi University. Admission in my college is based on cut-offs. I took admission in Bcom Hons. In my college and that was completely based on the cut-offs through average marks of 4 subjects in class 12th. I didn't avail any quota. Counseling was very systematic and smooth in my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to go for BCom Hons over bcom it is a more professional course. 1 teacher to 28-30 students is the average ratio in my program. Teachers are really hardworking and are extremely qualified. Internals include assignments, vivas, and tests. Teachers are very fair in evaluation. Others are semester exams which are totally conducted by the university and the evaluation is also done by the university itself.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunities are provided in the final year of the course. Internships are both paid and unpaid. Internships are provided in almost every domain and every role. During covid times, both works from home and work from office internships are provided by the college for the best professional experience for students.
Placement Experience
Our college provides placements from good companies like KPMG. Students from the 5th semester are eligible to sit for the placements. But not a high percentage of students get placements. Average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum. After completing my degree, I will try my best to get a placement in a good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of my college is very nominal. Fees is not high. And the fees keeps on decreasing from first year to the third year. The fee is paid yearly. Examination fee is also very nominal, just around 600-800 rupees. Our college invites many companies for campus placements and internships offering an average package of Rs. 4 lakh.
Campus Life
Annual fests are not at all good in our college. Some departmental fests are really good. Even, the college provides online books and study material. The library is really good and most of the books are available in the library as well. Many societies, clubs, and cells are run by students. Students are the office bearers and conduct regular events in the college.
